Create Debian packages for Nautilus components

We need to create Debian packages for base components of Nautilus that we build from source.

UPDATE: NautilusPackaging should be updated to reflect this scheme as we work it out.

Current packages (updated 2008-11-21):

• nautilus-distribution (META)
• nautilus-base-system
• nautilus-web
  • Centralized web interface for nautilus
  • Centralized web authentication.
• nautilus-snort
  • snort 2.8.2.2 with PostgreSQL and Aruba support
• nautilus-snort-rules
  • emerging threats and base rules
• nautilus-periscope
  • separate from mainline periscope due to special configuration?
• nautilus-ntop
  • subversion revision dated 2008 October 14
• nautilus-acidbase (META)

snort-ruleset should be broken out into a separate package. we should include rules from Emerging Threats, http://www.emergingthreats.net/content/view/16/38/

Uploaded, to test, add to /etc/apt/sources.list:

Packages to be used from Debian 'upstream':

acidbase (BASE)
ntop

The nautilus-snort, nautilus-snort-rules, nautilus-web, and nautilus-distribution packages are complete. All that's remaining is Periscope, pending a beta release.

No need to attach this to a milestone, this is an ongoing process being tracked.
